A Nutritional Therapist specialising in neurodiversity

Hi, I’m Stacey

A calm, compassionate approach to neurodiversity-affirming nutrition

I support children, adults, and families navigating ADHD, autism, ARFID, and perimenopause with gentle, realistic nutrition strategies that honour sensory needs, lived experience, and individual capacity.

My work is rooted in warmth, curiosity, and a deep belief that everyone deserves support that feels safe, respectful, and genuinely helpful. I don’t do shame, pressure, or perfectionism – I meet you exactly where you are.

My story

My work is shaped by both my professional background and my own lived experience.

I grew up with what I now recognise was ARFID, though in the 1990s it was simply labelled as being “fussy.” Those early sensory challenges stayed with me and deeply shaped how I understand eating behaviours, food anxiety, and the emotional weight that can come with mealtimes.

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. That diagnosis brought clarity to years of sensory overwhelm, fluctuating appetite, and difficulty maintaining routines — and it strengthened my commitment to supporting others whose needs are so often misunderstood or dismissed.

Before becoming a nutritional therapist, I worked as a nursery nurse, a teacher, and in mental health. These roles taught me how differently each person experiences the world, and how essential it is to feel seen, supported, and believed.

I later completed my Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy Diploma with CNM, where I now also work as an Assistant Supervisor. I’m currently expanding my training in nutrigenomics, exploring how genetics influence nutrition and wellbeing.

My approach is informed by evidence, empathy, and lived experience. I understand the complexities of food, sensory needs, and neurodivergent life — and I offer support that is realistic, compassionate, and truly personalised.

My approach

My approach is calm, collaborative, and tailored to the way your brain and body work.

I focus on creating small, achievable steps that feel manageable, especially for those navigating executive-function challenges, sensory sensitivities, or long-term overwhelm.

I use a neurodiversity-affirming, weight-inclusive, trauma-aware framework, which means:

My philosophy

Food should feel safe, supportive, and doable - not stressful or overwhelming.

I believe that:

I’m here to help you build confidence, not perfection.

Why I specialise in neurodiversity

I chose to specialise in ADHD, autism, ARFID, and perimenopause because neurodivergent people are so often misunderstood in traditional healthcare.

Many of my clients have been given advice that didn’t fit their reality – advice that ignored sensory needs, executive-function challenges, hormonal changes, or emotional load. Too often, this leads to frustration, guilt, and a sense of failure.

My work centres on creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported – without judgement, pressure, or shame. A space where your experience is respected, and support is shaped with you, not imposed on you.
